About the Body and Soul Wellness Fair

The Body and Soul Wellness Fair began over 12 years ago in Vernon, BC. Since then, the North Okanagan’s largest health fair has expanded throughout the Okanagan to also include an annual fair in Kelowna and Penticton.

These free-admission fairs are a place for the community to shop, socialize and connect with over 60 products and services that have to do with physical, mental and spiritual health. Attendees enjoy the free welcome bags at the door and the opportunity to enter to win prizes.

The organizers are passionate about helping to make the world a healthier place by supporting products and services that are good for the environment, community, and customers health.

Meet The Organizers

Shara Mendoza has followed in her father, Chris Madsen’s, footsteps and founded the Kelowna Wellness Fair in 2010, alongside her father. Her desire to connect the Kelowna residents with the many different health and wellness services in the Okanagan has been a huge hit in the area, and the Kelowna Wellness Fair has grown each year. She is also a professional guitarist, mother to two young boys and produces the Tot to Teen Expo in addition to the three wellness fairs.

Chris Madesn founded the Body & Soul Wellness Fair after a meditation at Cousin’s Bay, where he visioned a large event that would bring together healers from the community with those seeking better health. Chris is an accomplished guitarist, a professional musician for 45 years, and founder of the Living Love’s Vision organization. Chris takes his health very seriously and can be found making organic food from his garden, meditating and going spending the day hiking in the forests and hills surrounding Vernon.
