The Kelowna Wellness Fair started in 2010 when Chris and his daughter Shara expanded the popular ‘Body and Soul Wellness Fair’ in Vernon to include an annual event in Kelowna.
The Kelowna Wellness Fair is a free annual event that connects the public with over 60 products and services from the health and wellness industry.
The attendees enjoy entering to win prizes at our prize table! They also have access to an on-site ATM for their shopping convenience.
Many guests enter the hall and don’t emerge for several hours. There are so many things to discover inside; essential oils, massages, organic products, chemical-free cleaning options, spiritual healers, chiropractors, counselors, weight loss experts, and so much more.
We want to help you become the healthiest version of yourself possible; physically, mentally and spiritually!
Shara Mendoza has followed in her father, Chris Madsen’s, footsteps and founded the Kelowna Wellness Fair in 2010, alongside her father. Her desire to connect the Kelowna residents with the many different health and wellness services in the Okanagan has been a huge hit in the area. She is also a professional guitarist, mother of three kids and produces the Tot to Teen Expo in addition to the three wellness fairs. Shara is passionate about family health and teaching her children how to incorporate healthy nutrition, exercise and balance into their lives.
Chris Madesn founded the Body & Soul Wellness Fair after a meditation at Cousin’s Bay, where he visioned a large event that would bring together healers from the community with those seeking better health. Chris is an accomplished guitarist, a professional musician for 45 years, and founder of the Living Love’s Vision organization. Chris takes his health very seriously and can be found making organic food from his garden, meditating and going spending the day hiking in the forests and hills surrounding Vernon.
